Education Opportunity for Educators |
Each year the Loyola brings in a notable music educator to present workshops, clinics, and discussions with area music teachers. While this typically involves a $1000-$2000 to bring such an individuals to New Orleans, these events are "Free" to area music teachers and also provides an opportunity to earn professional development credit hours (CLUs) This year, we have arranged for Dr. James Frankel, Assistant Professor of Music Education Technology at Columbia University, Managing Director of SoundTree Technology/Korg Inc. (http://www.soundtree.com/), and President of the Association for Technology in Music Instruction (http://atmionline.org/). His sessions will run from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, March 3rd. |
