have been asked by the parade organizers in London to attempt to put together a composite corps-style band consisting of students from our area to participate in the 2013 New Year's Day Parade in London, England. Not only is this a great opportunity for students, any director who finds 25 passengers (band members, auxiliary members, parents, relatives, supporters, etc. - as long as it totals 25) will get a free trip to London as an Associate Director! A roommate may accompany you for only $1700! This price includes everything except lunches, and even the full price of $2975 is around $500 less per person than if someone was booking this trip themselves. At the moment I'm calling the band the "Greater New Orleans High School Marching Band" but it's just a working title for now. I think we can stretch it to include kids from Districts IV, VII and IX.
